The main objective of the digiFolio Project is to use the educational possibilities of portfolios supported by ICT in teacher's professional development leading to the building up of new competences and new approaches in the learning methodologies.
Accordingly, a shift in the role of the teacher will arise since the focus will be on student centred rather than teacher centred learning environments with the subsequent increase of students' responsabilities and motivation in their own educational path.
